The course is split into four main sections, with both theoretical (anatomy and common injuries) and practical case study components per section.

 

Section 1: The Upper Extremity

Lesson 1: Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics of the Neck, Shoulder,

Elbow, Wrist and Hand

Lesson 2: Common Injuries of the Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand.

Case Studies: Case 1: Case 2:

 

Section 2: Torso, Hip and Pelvis

Lesson 3: Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics of the Pelvis, Hip and Spine

Lesson 4: Common Injuries of the Pelvis, Hip and Spine

Case Studies: Case 1: Case 2:

 

Section 3: The Lower Extremity

Lesson 5: Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics of the Knee, Ankle and Foot

Lesson 6: Common Injuries of the Knee, Ankle and Foot

Case Studies: Case 1: Case 2:

 

Section 4: Programming and Injury Management

Each lesson should take an individual approximately 45 minutes. This results in the

course taking on average, 10 hours of direct contact time in total.

 

Assessment

Lesson Based Questions:

Throughout each lesson, a combination of short answer, multiple choice and fill in

the gap questions will be asked and each participant must attempt each question.

However, the responses to these questions will not be counted towards or impact

the final course grade. Immediately after each question is answered, the participant

will receive feedback and a recommended answer.

 

Case Study Questions:

Throughout each case study, a combination of short answer, multiple choice and fill

in the gap questions will be asked and each participant must attempt each question.

However, the responses to these questions will not be counted towards or impact

the final course grade. Immediately after each question is answered, the participant

will receive feedback and a recommended answer.

 

Final Multiple Choice Assessment:

The multiple choice question test challenges the applicants to understand the base

anatomical and physiological components of each different anatomical area

presented throughout the course.

 

Practical Video Submission:

At the completion of all of the course material, each participant will be asked to

submit three separate short videos, assessing and correcting an individual’s

movement pattern on three common movements.
