I’ve been out of the private training scene for a month or two now and I while I don’t feel like that’s enough time to properly collect my thoughts on this subject, I’ve started. And it’s a deep, fraught, emotional rabbit hole.

 

When you’re in the fitness industry there is a question that comes up more often than any other.

"How do I lose weight?"

Whenever I felt it coming I freeze.

Dorsal wrist impingement is the most common injury to a CrossFitters, Olympic Weightlifter or Gymnasts wrist. The injury results from the repetitive combination of hyperextension (extending or straightening the joint beyond its normal range of motion) and axial loading, (placing force on the joint or bone).

If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me "so and so told me I have the hardest traps they've ever touched" ... well, honestly all I would probably do with it is bankroll an even more extravagant Woolies Dreamy Choc cookie habit than I already have (but how sick would that be!)

What I mean is, the upper traps would have to be the most massaged area of the body. But they’re still so tight all the time, amiright?
