Careers · Evolutio Sports Physio Richmond
We're always open to hearing from practitioners who don't fit regular clinics with white walls, sterile waiting rooms, and treating three patients at once. If that's you, keep reading.
The Short Version
There's no formal job listing here. We don't hire to fill a seat. We hire when we meet someone who's genuinely excellent at what they do, fits the culture, and makes the team better.
If you're a physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, or remedial massage therapist who trains hard, thinks independently, and is tired of being told how to treat patients by a clinic that's never watched you work — send us a note. We'll catch up for a coffee with Phill and Alex if we think there might be something there.
No pressure. No timelines. Just a conversation.
Who We Hear From
We're a multi-disciplinary team. No specific role is always open, but we're genuinely interested in excellent people across these areas. Subcontractor and employed arrangements are both considered.
Most common enquiry
Sports and musculoskeletal focus preferred. Sub-specialties in running, cycling, CrossFit, ACL rehab or powerlifting are a strong advantage. Registered with AHPRA and ideally an APA member. Both new graduates and experienced physios considered depending on fit.
Growing area
Accredited with ESSA. Experience with chronic conditions, post-surgical rehab, or sports performance programming. Interest in working alongside a physio team in a gym-based environment.
Specialist role
Qualified and experienced in sports and deep tissue work. Cupping and dry needling qualifications are a plus. Comfortable working within a physiotherapy-led clinical environment rather than a standalone day spa.
Why Evolutio
Not a list of ping-pong tables and free coffee. These are the things practitioners who've joined us say actually matter to them after six months.
You own your clinical approach
No treatment templates. No tick-box protocols. You assess the person in front of you and treat them accordingly. The only expectation is that you're genuinely good at it and can back your reasoning. We hired you because we trust your judgement.
A space worth working in
Three levels, a fully kitted clinic gym, real treatment rooms, and a waiting area with a reclaimed wood table and actual plants. The clinic was built specifically because Alex couldn't stand working in sterile, beige medical spaces. That philosophy runs through everything.
An established, quality patient base
Over 7,200 patients since 2013. Athletes from recreational to national level. The kind of cases that are genuinely interesting to treat. Not a high-volume, high-churn model — patients here tend to stay, refer, and come back.
Interesting clinical work
Sub-specialties in running, cycling, CrossFit, ACL rehabilitation, powerlifting and more. Partner work with Ciclo Melbourne and HomeRun Melbourne means exposure to specialist cycling and running caseloads that you won't find at a general practice clinic.
CPD that actually matters
We support continuing professional development for all team members. In-house case discussions, external courses, and a genuine expectation that you'll keep learning. Both APA and Sports Medicine Australia memberships supported where applicable.

Are You a Fit
We've been pretty open about what we are. This section is about whether you're the right kind of person for it. We'd rather you work this out before reaching out than after.
